I wanted to teach the kids that I work for (they're religious) that God loves them. They're Catholic and are going through Catechism? the classes before their confirmation... (I get all the C's mixed up). Anyways, I finally decided to go over the creation. Then I just told them that God loves them SO much that He created this Earth for them. He gave them their family and parents that love them. Two good songs that show God's love for us are "I Am A Child of God" and "My Heavenly Father Loves Me". I didn't share the songs, but after the creation I told them to draw a picture of things that showed God loved them. I told them to include their favorite animal and their favorite thing in nature (mountains, valleys, canyons, rivers, volcanoes, trees, flowers, etc). I told them that God had them in mind when he created their favorite things. And they could've drawn their family too or any thing else that shows that God loves them.
