Do you remember "Choose Your Own Adventure" books? Usborne has a line of books that is very similar but geared towards girls, ages 10-14. You make choices that determine how the story goes. So multiple stories all in one depending on your choices. The one I've linked is How to Get to Rio (Rio is a boy the main girl is crushing on). Other titles include: The Call of the Wild, Make Up or Break Up, and A Hot Cold Summer.

Another series for fantasy fans is The Impossible Quest. Written for 9-13 year olds but enjoyable by many. One review was from a 60 year old man and another from a Mom who thinks Harry Potter fans might enjoy this series about four 12-13 year olds who go on a quest to wake up heroes and save the kingdom from evil witches. The complete series in paperback is found at the following link. It is also available in what Usborne calls their "Library" binding which is a type of hardback book but the cover has a different finish on it.

There are lots of craft type books but one that stood out to me is "Mythical Beasts Mask". Recommended for ages 8 and older. It has pop out pages and then you can build masks. You can make 10 masks including a unicorn, basilisk, griffin or dragon.

I used to have this one on World History too before I sold it. It is recommended for ages 8 and up. There are some on the Human Body, Oceans, Geography, Science and more. I highly recommend these books. All the internet links are on the same basic link- so it's not sending your kids to multiple different sites- just one. Most are $19.99 for paperback and the World History one has 416 pages in it- and every page has more resources available online. Also available in hardback or library binding.
